Super seedy cereal is perfect for a quick breakfast when you're on the run! High in fibre and naturally gluten free this seedy cereal is going to be a new favourite.
A couple of weeks ago I had a few days off so on a whim I decided to tackle something that's been on my list for years now....making an e-book. While deciding to write a book in a week probably wasn't the brightest idea I've had, the results are something I am pretty overjoyed about.
With the trend in meal prep these days and a push from my sister for recipes she can make ahead for work, I knew that having a selection of recipes that can be made in advance was just the thing that people were after.
- chia seeds
- hemp hearts
- buckwheat groats
- dried apples
- dried apricots
While I'm personally not a big fan of batch cooking, I do love good make-ahead staples, and that's just what this e-book has. In it you'll find over thirty recipes for items you can prep early in the week. These include the additions to your favourite bowl foods and mega salads, such as blender-free sauces, and five of my favourite salad dressings, along with a variety of bowl toppers, easy breakfasts to keep on hand, simple drinks, and a few desserts for the fridge and freezer.

Today I'm sharing one of my favourite breakfast recipes from the book, which is this super seedy cereal. Part overnight oats, part chia pudding, this high fibre breakfast cereal is a great allergy-free breakfast. Best of all it's ready in under 8 minutes.
Based on a local (and rather costly) cereal, this homemade version takes only a few minutes to toss together. It's the perfect thing for when you're running late. To serve, stir a few tablespoons of this mix into the milk, and go get ready. By the time you've showered and dressed, this cereal will be ready to devour. Alternatively, you can stir a tablespoon into yogurt, smoothie bowls, oatmeal, or your overnight oats.
