Brown Sugar Maple Oatmeal

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar or coconut sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup milk of choice
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch sea salt
Add all of the ingredients to a saucepan and heat over medium-high to bring to a boil. Once the mixture has boiled, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring often, until thickened.
