Carrot Juice

How to make carrot juice at home with either a blender or juicer. This easy juice is made with carrots, oranges, and ginger for a lightly sweet drink.

Equipment

  • Blender or juicer
  • Nut milk bag or layered cheesecloth

Ingredients

  • 5 large carrots no need to peel
  • 2 navel oranges peeled
  • 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger no need to peel

Instructions

  • To make in a blender, layer by adding the oranges closest to the blades, followed by the carrots and ginger. Add ¼ cup of water. Blend on high speed until very smooth, then strain through a nut milk bag.
    5 large carrots, 2 navel oranges, 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger
  • For a normal juicer, simply add as usual and extract the juice.

Notes

This makes about a litre of juice (4 cups).
If your carrots are small use a few more.
