Strawberry Smoothie Bowl

Any easy 4 ingredient strawberry smoothie bowl made with frozen fruit, this turns into a healthy ice cream-like treat when blended. Perfect for summer.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender bullet is ideal

Ingredients

  • 1 heaping cup heaping cup organic frozen strawberries
  • 1 small ripe banana sliced and frozen
  • 3 tablespoons non-dairy milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop protein powder optional

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a small blender and mix until very smooth.
    1 heaping cup heaping cup organic frozen strawberries, 1 small ripe banana, 3 tablespoons non-dairy milk, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 scoop protein powder
  • Spoon the smoothie into a bowl and add any desired toppings, then serve immediately.

Notes

Add a pitted date to sweeten and add extra fibre if desired.
Try topping with granola, soaked chia seeds, and hemp hearts for extra protein and healthy fats.
