Magical Morning Cinnamon Mocha

This mocha combines warming spices with cocoa and coffee making an extra-special autumn drink. For an extra treat add some coconut cream to the top.

Equipment

  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Small pot
  • Blender or frother

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 2 teaspoons coconut sugar
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 ½ cups milk of your choice
  • 1 shot espresso I made mine in an Aeropress

Instructions

  • Make the shot of espresso, set aside.
  • Meanwhile, heat the rest of the ingredients together in a small pot.
  • Combine the espresso and the chocolate milk together in a blender or milk frother and whip until creamy.

Notes

You can add a little bit of mushroom powder to this to make it a mushroom mocha, or sub the espresso for a shot of dandelion coffee.
